  1. Keeping up with technology is a priority for grocers, with omnichannel initiatives leading the way.
According to Progressive Grocer’s 85th annual industry survey, nearly three-fourths of respondents plan to increase their tech spending in 2018.

Technology has jumped to the third most pressing concern for grocers, trailing only labor issues and competitive threats. Last year, grocers ranked technology ninth on Progressive Grocer’s annual survey.

  2. Whether you own and operate a brochure site, an eCommerce store or a SaaS platform, either indirectly or directly you’re going to be receiving customer feedback on a daily basis. It’s whether you choose to ignore it that will set you apart from the crowd.

Some of the feedback you receive will be online, others you may receive face-to-face, and some you may not see at all without implementing clever technologies within your business to seek it out. Whatever the case, customer feedback, whether it’s negative or positive is everywhere.

In this article, we’ll look at how you can not only identify what’s being said about your business online but how you can face up to that feedback if it’s negative and can begin to shape the tone of the conversation when it comes to you and your brand.

  3. Online Surveys provide marketers with a simple and easy way to get in contact with a targeted audience and collect feedback. Not to mention, they are great for tracing product feedback, conducting market research, obtaining feedback on customer service and measuring customer AND employee satisfaction. Picking a suitable online survey software for your business can however be quite tricky – especially considering many of these tools seem to provide many of the same features. One particular tool which has become quite popular in recent years is Qualaroo.

Let’s look at some alternatives and competitors to Qualaroo.

  4. User experience is now considered a vital, standalone discipline within web design. And with 'UX designer' fully established as a job title, and specialists still in high demand, our user experiences should be better than ever.

However, as demands change and expectations rise, there are still issues facing the discipline. We asked web professionals what barriers they felt were holding us back from creating great user experiences today.

  5. UX has been a buzzword that bounces around the design world, endorsed and adopted by designers anddevelopers. In many cases, highly respected developers who claim to be talking about ”UX” in a product demonstration are in fact showing a large number of UI features. I doubt much that the vague definition may account for this kind of misunderstanding. We’ve heard of UI (User interface) and UX (User Experience). When you build an App or a website with Mockplus, we will talk to you about both. If UX is not UI, What is the exact difference?

  6. The phrase “it’s never too late” doesn’t relate to making a good first impression. You are at risk to lose users if they don’t like the app’s UI at first glance. That’s why user interface is getting so important. It’s literally the first thing users see even before they start interacting with a product.

According to Google research, 26% of all installed apps are used no more than once. The main reason for this is poor UI. To engage users into your interface, you should follow the most recent design trends.

  9. A complete overhaul of healthcare’s digital user experience to bring forth high-quality and innovative care is a huge undertaking. But the physicians and facilities that prioritize patient experience will see an increase in satisfaction when the digital user experience improves. According to HBR, 97% of patients surveyed were satisfied with their first telehealth experience. And 74% of patients felt that the interaction improved their relationship with their provider.

According to a recent study completed by SAP Center for Business Insight, 400 global C-level executives agreed that digital transformation is critical to survival and healthcare organizations are in the early stages of this journey.

  10. Every day, the ProgrammableWeb team is busy, updating its three primary directories for APIs, clients (language-specific libraries or SDKs for consuming or providing APIs), and source code samples. If you have new APIs, clients, or source code examples to add to ProgrammableWeb's directories, we offer forms (APIs, Clients, Source Code) for submitting them to our API research team. If there's a listing in one of our directories that you'd like to claim as the owner, please contact us at editor@programmableweb.com.

Twelve APIs have been added to the ProgrammableWeb directory in categories including Financial, Billing, and Feedback. Some highlights include the Gfycat API for programmatic access to the animated GIF platform, and the Rev.io API for usage-based billing functions. Here's a rundown of the latest additions.
