  1. In a technology-driven world, it’s common to hear the term user experience, or UX. It is most often associated with products and platforms with a focus on ensuring end users have a positive and effective experience interacting with the solution. To be clear, user experience is more than the user interface, or UI (the visuals). It is the skeleton the UI is built on.

  2. User experience (UX) is the most important part of any app. If a user finds an app difficult to use then it doesn’t matter how well it’s built or how good it looks – they won’t use it.

There are many areas within user experience, but the one we will focus on is micro interactions, which closely link to motion design and to the user interface (UI). Micro interactions are sometimes overlooked or viewed as a ‘nice to have’, however more and more people are seeing the benefits of spending time implementing them to enhance UX and better engage their end users.

  5. Your website type decides which kind of web design is more appropriate for the site. Commonly two types of website designing concept are in practice. They are UX and UI. And when you hand over the job of web designing to some web developer cum designer, then you are often asked, or given a choice about what kind of design you want to go with. If you are a complete layman in this, then you must understand the implications and applications of the design types for a better understanding of how to get your website designed and developed.

  6. There are many different ways to focus on the user experience for your website. However, sometimes those ideas are so overused and generic that they may not actually have you typical user in mind. When determining if your website’s UX actually has the user in mind, you should look at what process your target audience will likely to go through when landing on your page.

  7. To wean users off their devices, UX designers can deploy the very tricks that made their products so addictive in the first place, writes Bruce Nussbaum.

The defining change in the field of design that brought design, finally, to the attention of Silicon Valley was the rise of UX. The ability to design great engagements for consumers of mobile technology added enormous value to high-tech companies— and to the design profession itself. Designers finally moved from the periphery to the center of business as engineers and coders recognized the critical importance of a designed experience. In the past decade, design and technology have morphed into a single product process.

  8. It is crucial for designers to understand, on a psychological level, why people are doing what they are doing, what motivates them to use our products, stick to our services and recommend them to others. This awareness will allow us to create optimal user experiences for users.
In this article, we will look at a couple of basic approaches in designing optimal experiences for users based on basic psychological principles.

  9. Imagine that in today’s world we only had two types of cars, Ford and Chevy. All the Ford cars only work on Ford roads, and all the Chevy cars only work on Chevy roads. If you want to open a business, you have to build one for each type of road. That’s pretty much what our current smartphone app ecosystem is like right now, and it really makes no sense. Hopefully, things won’t stay like this for much longer.
