  1. My journey with Alexa began when I was at my brother’s house one day, and my 4-year-old nephew was showing off Alexa. He was excitedly asking Alexa about sharks and changing the Phillips lights so he could party. Then at work, my coworker was telling me how he was outfitting his house to be a smart home. This piqued my interest. Are we starting to get to a point where I may have my own Rosie the Robot?

  2. We are proud to announce that one of the largest supermarket chains in the Netherlands, Albert Heijn, now uses Mopinion’s feedback software on their website (AH.nl). Albert Heijn – also referred to as the AH or ‘Appie’, as the Dutch like to call it – jump-started its online feedback programme in June of last year (2017). Since then, they have employed various feedback forms across their website with the aim to extract valuable insights into the online shopper journey.

  5. Every time I sign into any social media platform, someone has an opinion on the future of voice. It’s either the future we all deserve from the technology at our fingertips or it’s another passing fad that will come and go. The overwhelming conversation is the issue with the user experience around voice. How it’s too public, too confusing, too nuanced, a general feeling that people will not take to it. It’s too futuristic and intimidating for the average person to interact with regularly. All of those points might very well be true, but I take issue with the reason behind why we accept that.

Throughout the digital evolution, we have pointed to a myriad of technologies that would “never be adopted” for whatever reasoning at the time. The fact is that at every turn, there have been challenges with the UX because humans are, by condition, bad at change. The thing that overcomes those challenges is function, which is the real issue right now in voice.

  6. As enterprise end-users and customers alike have embraced the digital life, the need for well-designed user experience (UX) has intensified. With so many applications, platforms and services that continue to change day by day, or even hour by hour, UX has become a major force in its own right.

Now, the world is moving to artificial intelligence (AI), which promises to greatly enhance UX, working behind the scenes to deliver automatic and intuitive responses to user requests. The benefits of AI go even deeper. A recent survey of design professionals by Adobe finds more than half, 62%, expressed interest in AI and machine learning and what they add to the creative process. AI and machine learning will have a "democratizing effect on creativity" in applications and products. AI also opens up possibilities such as 3D and immersive design.

  8. CIOs are often inundated with vendor promises of a user experience so superb, they won’t need to fret about employee training. But CIOs should be skeptical when they hear promises like these, especially when it comes to AI and automation technologies.

  10. In global information and communication industry one of the significant trend is shifting of internet services from computers to mobile devices. As the penetration of smart phone is increasing exponentially, most of the companies around the world is focusing to deliver their services with enhanced user experience over the mobile platforms. User experience (also UX) is all about how convenient a person feels while interacting with a system, this system could be a utilization of hardware, web application or a software.
