  1. The phrase “it’s never too late” doesn’t relate to making a good first impression. You are at risk to lose users if they don’t like the app’s UI at first glance. That’s why user interface is getting so important. It’s literally the first thing users see even before they start interacting with a product.

According to Google research, 26% of all installed apps are used no more than once. The main reason for this is poor UI. To engage users into your interface, you should follow the most recent design trends.

  2. UX has been a buzzword that bounces around the design world, endorsed and adopted by designers anddevelopers. In many cases, highly respected developers who claim to be talking about ”UX” in a product demonstration are in fact showing a large number of UI features. I doubt much that the vague definition may account for this kind of misunderstanding. We’ve heard of UI (User interface) and UX (User Experience). When you build an App or a website with Mockplus, we will talk to you about both. If UX is not UI, What is the exact difference?

  4. Many organizations are taking steps towards becoming compliant with the upcoming EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) before the May 2018 compliance date. But only a few are considering user experience (UX) aspects of GDPR compliance, which is of paramount importance in order to gain a competitive edge. A sound UX strategy tied with GDPR compliance will enable organizations to use personal data privacy as a differentiator in the market to attract new customers and retain existing ones. It is necessary to consider privacy as a key ingredient of your UX at the initial stages itself.

This webinar will cover best practices when applying GDPR into your product experience and user journey with the examples such as:

    - User onboarding
    - Privacy by design
    - Managing user consent
    - Adopting your software and user interfaces to ensure GDPR compliance

  5. "A few days ago was my 2 year anniversary at StatMuse (visit us) and subsequently also my 2 year anniversary as a UX/UI Designer! Although I am happy that we’ve shipped multiple responsive websites, a brand new iOS app, and a some platform bots, I do recognize that I’ve made a whole bunch of mistakes along the way."

  6. When it comes to website and app design, user interface (UI) is king. After all, your users see the UI first and they will continue to interact with it on a regular basis. Website users value the user interface so much, a typical visitor will form an opinion about your website within 50 milliseconds — and you can guarantee that level of expectation translates to apps, too.

  7. IIoT technology has evolved to the point that self-serve solutions are easier to configure, with personalized display mash-ups and data analytics.

Who needs that data-scientist system designer?!

Not so fast. There’s a flipside to this build-your-own-world. The flexibility of the new self-serve technology is both its strength and its weakness, as you must determine who will help develop the most intuitive interface, design and data management for your system

  8. We’ve all overheard conversations, walking down hip streets of the world’s tech capitals, discussions about the great ‘UX’ of a product, or the poor ‘UI’ of a website. Is it a secret language you will never be privy to? Are these people just using slang to look cool?

Well, ok probably yes to the latter, but a determinate NO to the rest. Read on to learn what these terms mean, which jobs are better paid, and how to become a UX designer or UI designer.

  9. UI/UX designers are in growing demand in today’s tech heavy world. And they should be! User interface and user experience is everything your audience sees and engages with on a digital platform, so it’s pretty important. A digital experience is absolutely nothing without design, and a bad design can ruin everything.

  10. User experience is often overlooked in website and app design and, indeed, the design of many things. How many times have you felt compelled to push a door only to find you need to pull it instead? While fire codes might dictate such design, it’s an example of user experience at work.

While taking a moment to figure out whether a door is push or pull sounds like a small thing, those types of irritants can add up online -- and cost your business customers.
